a focal point for experienced surfers who wish to put themselves to the test with seriously demanding waves (La Galea,
El Acantilado, Azkorri, La Triangu, Sopelana, Meñakoz, Barrika, Bakio and Mundaka, amongst others). It is also perfect for
those who wish to take up this beautiful sport - in itself a whole way of life in direct contact with nature.
This fully refurbished 16th century building provides a warm, cosy atmosphere with its own garden where you can relax after a hard day out on the beach or exploring the countryside.
Barrika is a small village nestling on the cliff-edge in a privileged setting for relaxing and taking time out in bars with a great surfing atmosphere, where you can have a drink and listen to some good music.
Surfing is more a way of life than an actual sport. Do you know of any other sport that has its own style of music?
The sensations of speed, vertigo and adrenaline highs are indescribable - the best thing is to have a go yourself.

The hostel provides accommodation for a number of guests, who pursue outdoor activities during the day and then come back to sleep at night.
